A reader has posted a comment claiming that "prewrath believers are in direct disobedience to the Lord's commands." In fact, he suggests that we need to "grow up," and that we are "deliberately disobeying" God's commands. He also adds that we "think [we] are brighter than Jesus." Do any of my other readers care to address this individual? It might be a good learning/teaching experience for lurkers.

He has. I debated DBULL a while back and he's just a guy with a set point of view. We will probably NOT change his understanding, but maybe readers may get some clarification by reading a debate between himself and someone that understands the issues. I just don't have time until next week to really get into a debate. I'm sure someone will step forward and fill in for me. Hint, hint. :)

Sounds like a bunch of "Bull" to me. Ok, I'm sorry, that wasn't very nice. Seriously, I would be curious what Mr. Bull has to say. Perhaps, he can join us and enlighten us. Speaking for myself, I know I still have a lot to learn, and thus, I have "an ear to hear." So, I take my seat and wait for Mr. Bull to come charging into the arena.
Did you read his comments, Raul? He already did join us and he has come charging into the arena. I'm out of town for the weekend, but if I get time in between jobs today, I may comment a bit on his claims.
Oops! My bad. I guess I was in the wrong arena. Don't you just hate it when that happens?

I'm new on the blog, but it never ceases to amaze me when it comes to the simplicity of the Prewrath Rapture stance. The Pretribulation stance is nothing but a mass of confusion and fiction. They twist the Scriptures which is dangerous (2 Peter 3:16). I go by Paul's statement: "But if any man be ignorant, let him be ignorant" (1 Corinthians 14:38).

Thanks for stopping by, Ron. And yes, pre-wrath, or at least the basic foundation, is very simple. It is frustrating when certain teachers write books and inform their readers that pre-wrath is too complicated to understand. I feel as though there are many good intentioned pre-tribbers out there that just don't understand because they've never even given anything other than pre-trib a second thought due to the things said by teachers and pastors.

I have never been Pre-Trib, but if I was I think I would have a really hard time trying to make a case for it.
There are just so many arguments for the Pre-Trib rapture, that I would'nt know where to start. Imminecy? Populating the millennium? Kept from the hour?
There are just too many. The Pre-Trib rapture seems almost a caricature of inductive argumentation done badly.

"Deliberately disobeying the Lord's commands?" Didn't Jesus say in Mt. 28:20 that His disciples are to make other disciples of all nations(who are then to make more disciples of all nations) who are to teach "all that I commanded you". That includes what He taught in Mt. 24. When you take Mt. 24 literally and chronologically and allow it to apply to the Church, ("the elect" sure reminds me of Pauline theology) all the end time passages harmonize beautifully.
